Junior & Explorace USM

Wat is wrong wit my frens?? Last week when i went back to Taiping, Emma was lying on the hospital bed. And this week in Penang, it's Junior! As adventerous as he is, he decided to try out wall-climbing, organised by 100Plus in USM. He reached the top and he fell =.=

That poor thing. We were all soo sad and worried. Coz he fell from the top and we all know wat impact to the backbone can do to u. (Dont worry he's fine now)
N this week i joined the USM Penang Explorace. N my team won woohoo!!! I joined it bcoz i wanted to get to know Penang better and i did! It was a 2 days 1 night race n i met loads of new frens too!

2nd time Back To Taiping

Well i'm back in Taiping again for this weekend and i've got a chance to blog finally. This week the classes have started for serious and we've got all the assignments and homeworks. And instead of doing them over the weekend, i'm using up my time to catch up with frens and simply online without focusing on my priorities... Die la... I only managed to finish Spanish exercises and poem annotations which like only 20% of overall work...
N i dunno wat my gang is doing there in USM also lol.

It's okay. They can look after themselves, just like the gang in Taiping... except for Emma, who ended up hospitalised in her own workplace, The Columbia Asia Hospital lol. So me and Yoshini visited her there. Nothing to be worried about, she'll get better asap.

Not forgetting also, I went to watch Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince@!!! It was so nice. I totally understood it well because everything i already read in the book sorta like visualised itself.

I went with Yoshini after doing some shopping. She's going to Penang Unitar tomorrw lol.

1st time Back To Taiping

I also bought a new USM bag lol.

It has been a week and the classes have commenced. I've seen my lecturers for this sem and so far most of them seem nice. I repeat, only most of them, not all of them. One of them gives me the creeps. So i decided to 'balik kampung' for the weekend, to settle my PTPTN and also run away from the male Indian freaks and morons who call themselves seniors in USM. They are making my life miserable. Anyway, one of my gf there, Pushpa was leaving to Kulim on Saturday. So i decided to tag along with her till the Butterworth bus station. To get there, we had to take a bus to the Penang Jetty and from there take the ferry and then take a bus to Kamunting from the bus station and then have my dad pick me up to get back home. OMG lol.

N here let's see. On Friday night at abt 9.30pm went out with Yfong, Amir and Nazu coz it was Nazu's 20th birthday! Happy Birthday Nazu!!! I wasnt able to plan anything coz i just found out abt it on Friday itself plus i was mega tired and lazy. And today at noon, me, Yoshini, Amir and Hezry went to watch Hannah Montana: The Movie. OMG it was soo much more touching than it was funny. Loved it. Especially the Tyra Banks scene and of course Vanessa Williams' acting. N at first i used to not like the song The Climb by Miley Cyrus. Then after giving it a few more listen, i started to like it. But now after watching how the song fit in the movie perfectly, i love it. The song is so much better in the movie than with the music video.

After the movie, the four of us went to eat in one of Amir's favourite restaurant called Yut Sun. I didnt like it lol. Not going there again haha. And huhu... going back to Penang tomorrow...

Orientation Conclusion

It's me from USM!!! Orientation week was so much fun. It was the week where everyone was extra friendly, including me. Lol. It was the week in which everyone used the activities organised to assess their batchmates and pick like-minded people, to be called BFs for the rest of ur studies. And through my assessment, which worked thank god, i've found a bunch of loonies that i am proud to call my friends and be a part of a gang with them. They are E-Wan(quiet/clever/friendly) from Sabah, Junior(loony, crazy, naughty) from Sabah, Hafiz (shy) a Taipingite as well, Ashraf(mysterious) from Sarawak, and Abol(expressive) from Penang itself lol. N we also have common frens like Azilah from Sarawak and Desmond from Ipoh. He's actually a long lost friend of mine from St.George's lol. And not forgetting my USM girlfriends, of whom i dont have any pics yet... Here i enclose some of the pics lol:

We had so much fun during the orientation week. But one problem would be that the bus service was not to operate during the whole orientation week. So all of us had to walk to the site of all the activities, guided by facilitators called PPSL. The furthest we walked would be to the main hall of USM call Dewan Tunku Syed Putra or DTSP. It's like 40 minutes away by foot. N there of course we had lots of boring speeches. It was so boring that sometimes we fall asleep:

But then again, there were some really fun times. Like we had Cheer Desa competition between hostels, and the live broadcast of Awal Ashari's Generasi Y.

And since orientation week ended on Saturday evening, we went to Tesco Extra in Sungai Dua at night. Lol the only thing that i bought was a packet of plaster that i bought for my toe that got hurt in Tesco 0.o N the next day, on Sunday, we took the bus to Komtar, to meet up with Junior's sister and the one and only Nazrin Puyeh!! I was soo excited. It's been so long since i last saw him. Then we went to Perangin Mall, Pacific and of course Queensbay Mall lol. Then but evening we were back in Tekun. Thanks a lot Nazrin!!
