Street Driver

Hmm.. I went to driving lessons yesterday n the day before n they were scary. My instructor is acceli a nice man but he's very strict in his teaching. Not only does he smoke, he also eats all sorts of pills that he keeps in the car. Yesterday, he took me driving around Taiping while he went shopping. We even went to his house coz he lost a student's L license. Plus 1 more thing that he did: He lied in the records that i've already practiced for 6 hours but the truth is i've only done 4 hours so far. I'm not sure how to react. At one side, i should be relieved that i dont have to see him for long. At the other side, i think i need the practice coz i still suck bad. Sigh....
Today i went Street Fighters: The Legend Of Chun Li with Shikin. She was totally excited to see the movie bcoz it has her favourite star Kristin Kreuk. The movie was watchable so i wouldnt think it was a waste. But when the movie ended, Shikin was sad because Chun Li (Kristin Kreuk) didnt end up with a boyfriend in the movie lol. After that we played in the arcade for a while before eating in Tesco food court. Then i sent her home and went home to find out that my youngest brother broke his leg and was in hospital lol.

Oldtown Karaoke

Today was Yfong's off day so we decided to go karaokeing. And on the way inside TS i ran into Amir. OMG it's been so long since i saw him. His hair is now curlier than before lol. He and Nazi were hanging in Pelita so i kinda joined them for a while. We chatted like mad bcoz it's been so long since we met up. Then after Yfong came i had to leave them. But to my suprise they came karaokeing too with Tiko. Initially we were in different rooms but then after they were done, Amir and Nazi decided to join us too. Lol it was a total party. We all enjoyed ourselves so much.
After karaokeing, Yfong had to meet up with other frens so she left first. The 4 of us decided to go to Oldtown Coffee. I ordered my usual cold Chocolate and toast. Suddenly i saw my former colleague, Kak Jan and former boss Miss Lee. I went to say hi to them but instead ended up in a big problem. Turns out my ex-boss is doing a side business of selling essence oil. N i somehow ended up in their discussion. The rep of the products, who was also there, started persuading me about her product. I was just polite and listened to everything she had to say. But of course i was anxious abt leaving my frens just like that. But she managed to end it (lol) and i went back to my group of laptoping frens. Haha. After that we all went home...

p/s: I also went driving lessom yesterday and today morning but not ready to talk abt it yet. And dad bought me HP & Deathly Hallows. YAY!

Important Movie Marathon

Lol, just like the day before, i went to Emma's house today too. But today we decided to fill up the SSPN form together. After discussing about more educational stuff and what we're going to do, we started watching Junjou Romantica episodes that i brought. Lol i could still watch it again n again without getting bored. It's still so funny. After that, Em played Knocked Up starring Katherine Heigl and Seth Rogen. I thought the movie was disgusting and decided to leave before the movie even ended lol. It was just so fun to hang with Em again after so long. N Midknight was all over me with it's slobber. Ew.

Emergency Movie Marathon

Well, i've been having this gross swelling on my thigh for abt 2 weeks n yesterday was the last straw it seems. It broke yesterday nite and started bleeding non-stop till today morning. So this morning my dad drove me to the hospital through Emergency to see what's wrong. The doctor there prescribed me some confusing medicines that really taste bad.
Then back at home, i was onlining when Em just called up to hang. So i went(with the pain) n we had a blast. We caught up on all the stories we've missed out on and had a mini movie marathon. We watched I Now Pronounce You Chuck And Larry and She's The Man. Chuck And Larry was just a mediocre movie and i've decided that i hate Adam Sandler. The 2 of them end up teling the whole world they are not really a couple and they were just trying to fraud the government.
Meanwhile She's The Man was a totally funny movie. Me and Em just laughed n laughed at the scenes. Amanda Bynes is such a cool and funny actress. She even turned out to be a cute guy lol. At the end of the movie, through all that confusion, all of them ended up with a couple, even one of the soccer player who turned out to be gay and hooked with Viola(Amanda Bynes)'s friend Paul Antonio. Lol. Then by 11pm i was starving so i just headed home and DotAed lol.

Mamma Mia Spontaneity

I was just wasting my day online when Yoshini msged me to go watch Mamma Mia. The movie was on a couples replay promotion for Valentine's. I was like okay since i had nothing to do anyway. It was on 5pm and we reached the ticket counter exactly at that time. So that means we made it lol. The movie was full of musical numbers. Some were boring but some were really fun to listen to. I, who've never heard of ABBA till Mamma Mia came out last year, found myself actually falling for the song Dancing Queen, which i've never heard the full version before either. The movie is abt a daughter trying to figure out who is her real father from 3 men. But 1 ended up marrying her mother, 1 ended up hooking up with her mother's fren and 1 more found out he's gay and hooked up with a guy in the island =.= . And she didnt figure out who's her real father till the end because they decided to share her. Though, by the end of the movie, i started feeling nauseous and i couldnt shake the feeling i'm gonna be sick if i hear one more song from the movie. Hmm but my favourite songs would be Dancing Queen, Money Money Money and A Man After Midnight lol.

Oh yea, one of the potential fathers (the gay one), likes to use the word 'spontaneous' a lot that people in the cinema just start laughing everytime they hear that word lol including me.

First Time Adventures...

Shikin booked me to go out with her today since last week =.= . She wanted to go out for a movie and stay out late. Staying out late is rarely possible for her since her parents are very strict. So i checked the cinema's site when i was online in the morning and decided to go They Wait with her. The movie was 7.20pm. So Shikin snuck out of her house at 6.45pm and we met up at out neighbourhood MKJ mini market. We went straight to TS with my motorbike hoping could catch the movie but unfortunately due to some technical stuff, the movie got cancelled. The other movies available have already been watched by yours truly so there were only 2 other options left. It's either Ong Bak 2 or Look For A Star. I didnt wanna go Ong Bak 2 coz for me the movie is ugly n dirty. Shikin wanted to see Ong Bak 2 and I wanted to go for the other movie instead. So we decided to battle it out with 1 2 Som lol. N i won. N we went to the movie. N i regretted it =.= . For one, the movie was boooring. N second, poor Shikin. I shld have given in. Sigh....

Not forgetting, we also went to the video arcade and karaoke lol. We ended up karaokeing to abt 10 songs and Shikin basically picked old songs =.= . We also ate dinner at the Tesco food court coz i was so hungry but she wasnt... lol. It was a fun day. THANKS SHIKIN!!!

Weddings, Weddings & More Weddings!!!

If u guys still remember, i just posted at the end of last year 2 weddings 1 month apart each other. One was my brother and another my cousin sister. N even before that 3 of my cousins married 1 year apart each other. My point is, all of my cousins are marrying lol. Just me n my 2 younger brothers are studying among us cousins. Everyone else are working and will be marrying soon. So, in that note, over the weekend, i went to another cousin's wedding =.= .

The wedding was yesterday. So today we left my aunt's hse after lunch. Reached home evening. Just in time for 'pasar malam'. So i just asked Shikin to go with me. She baked chocolate chip cookies for all her frens and they were just delicious. Thanks Shikin!

Junjou Romantica (Laugh + Cry)

Today started off quite okay. An ex-colleague called up at 9.30am to tell me it was his b'day today lol. That was very thoughtful of him (he got free airtime from Hotlink), although he annoyed me for waking me up b4 12pm =.= . After that i cldnt sleep so i just took bath and started downloading an anime that i'm totally obsessed abt, since Kirepapa is still pending in production. It's called Jonjou Romantica and it's abt the lives of 6 guys who's life r connected to each other. There are manga volumes of it too but i havent started reading them yet.

It's so funny yet so touching. I start off laughing yet I always end up teary or crying when i finish each episode. Today i was kinda having a bad mood after a DotA incident so i decided to take it up on DotA itself. Besides my red n painful eyes from all the tears and lack of sleep took a toll on me. N i also had to prepare for my KL trip tmrrw (hope it'll happen). So i just kept myself busy to avoid the game. N i guess it worked. Yay i finished season 1 of JR. Hope to watch season 2 'asaigb' (as soon as i get back).

My mom and i are talking again. Saw Sally too. Talked 4 a while. Tmrrw is Valentine's Day. Advanced birthday wishes cousin. C u tomorrow(i think). Although i can think of a certain someone to go out with, too bad (i think) i wont be in Taiping for that.

It's so hard to plan for the future when even tomorrow is still uncertain.

House or Hell?

Today went on as a tiring day. I woke up at 12pm, again and onlined and DotAed with everyone till Shawn asked go 'yam cha' lol at 5.45 and after that go Valkyrie. But i had to have tea time at home so i went there at 6pm. Late as usual. And saved from embarassment by Mr.K. THANKS MR.K!!!
Then we went Starbucks where i tried the Banana Chocolate Chip muffin. Not bad i guess. Then it was a bit chaotic as Shawn, D and Kieran had to go somewhere, leaving me and Keong to get the tickets. I didnt acceli want to watch Valkyrie coz i dont like Tom Cruise and political war movies. Valkyrie is a combo of both =.= . Anyway, it turned out they need 7 ppl to run a movie and eventhough Shawn, D and Kie brought another fren, we were only 6. Btw, it was the opening day for Valkyrie =.= . Talk abt good reception.
So we ended up buying tickets for a new movie called House. It was recommended by a 'sister' at the ticket counter bcoz it House's opening day. The movie turned out to be kinda lousy. The House in the movie is actually Hell in disquise where the Devil himself disguised as a police officer, goes after sinners and lures them into the House to be tortured. N in between all this is Jesus, in the form of a girl called Susan. I didnt understand the movie till i read the review in another site lol.

After movie, we went to do a bit of grocery shopping for Shawn and then headed to JomBali Cafe. I decided to have dinner at home instead coz mom cooked my favourite nasi lemak. But there was this teeny weeny problem. The ticket money. I acceli felt bad abt asking them for the money but felt like i have to. So i went to ask them for the money like a ceti =.= . After that i just left home yawning miserably...

The Hectic Wedding Game

Yoshini n i acceli planned y'day to go out today to run some errands 4 her. She also wanted to go 4 a movie. I said 3pm. The she said she want 10am coz she said afternoon she's scared it might rain. I was like =.= . TS opens at 10.30am honey. Somemore i wake up at 12pm for crying out loud. U want 10am? Then she said 1pm. Then i said okay only if it looks like going to rain.
Then today, i really did wake up at 12pm lol. And at 1pm, when the sky outside was sunny, she called and asked am i ready to leave hse. I felt mean so i said "hey no la, 3pm la." Then she said "oo okay" n put down the phone. After that i remembered she said y not go for a movie and i also remembered a movie trailer that i saw when i went to watch The Pink Panther 2: The Wedding Game. So i went through today's movie listings online and found 4 movies that we can make it to. They were Ong Bak 2, The Pink Panther 2, Inkheart and Wedding Game. The Wedding Game was 2.30pm and i really wanted to watch that. By the time it was already 1.30pm lol. I quickly ate nasi ayam that dad bought and got ready. I called her up and told to get ready also. So in the end, i picked her up at 2pm, a time that none of us expected or planned earlier lol.
So after much persuasion, she said okay to watch The Wedding Game. She was apprehensive coz it was a Mandarin film. I said it's okay bcoz it's a Malaysian Singaporean production. Besides i'm sure there'd be subtitles. For our sake i did confirm at the ticket counter and they said yes. There was another Malay movie that she was interested to go to: Sifu Dan Tongga. For me it was out of question coz got Senario guys in it. I hate them. How ironic bcoz one of them, Saiful Apek, ended up being in my movie also =.= . The story started out soo funny and ended in a touching happy ending. Plus great cinematography especially the way they play with the mirrors lol. N ironically the hero n heroin are a couple in real life lol. Yoshini n i both enjoyed it very much.

After that we went to finish up her errands. She changed her newly bought phone charger bcoz it stopped working lol. Then it was Yfong's lunch break, at 5pm =.= , so we went to eat at Oldtown Coffee. Then, we went to a shop in Yoshini's neighbourhood to buy stuff and i went home after sending her.
I was onlining when i got a call from Mariana, my junior in King Edward for assistance with her extra subject, English Literature. She wanted my E.Lit. notes which were passed on to me by my senior. So in gratitude to my senior (THANK YOU BHUPINDER!!!) who helped me out, i'm helping her out. She wanted me to send her the notes at skool tomorrow afternoon. All i could think abt was the heat and the sun. So since she's going for tuition class with my previous E.Lit. teacher, i decided to pay them a visit tonite and just pass over the note in the coolness of the nite. Besides, i got a phone call from Shawn asking to go out. So i decided to finish them together. After meeting up with Madam Sugguna and Mariana and passing everything, i went to TS to discover that Shawn and Kieran were going to watch a movie lol. N Keong didnt want to. Since it was already 9pm and i havent had dinner, i decided to skip movie too. While waiting for their movie to start, we ended up playing the arcade football table and basketball in front of the cinema lol. It was fun. Then i just headed home n DotAed.

Kirepapa

I totally blame Mr.K for all of these. I've always watched animes that were interesting 4 me but mangas were something different altogether. I've never read them b4 but somehow i got influenced by the Mr i mentioned earlier. N i dont remember how but i stumbled upon a manga called Kirepapa. Lol being impatient, i decided to watch the OVAs first in Megavideo. N i totally fell for it. It's soo funny. It's abt a 35yr old single father who hates all of his 15 yr old son's frens. Everytime they come over, he'll put laxatives in their food to send them packing in the name of protecting his only son. Lol. It's hilarious. The manga is also just as funny. After finishing the Original Video Animations i moved on to the manga. Lol. Thx to Mangafox and no thanks to Onemanga. Kirepapa rocks. I't still ongoing so i cant wait 4 Chapter 2 Volume 2 and OVA 3. Asap plz!

Pink Panther 2

Today went on as a drabby day until Em onlined lol. Since she was off today, she was planning on going 4 a movie. Just my luck, we were both online n she asked me and Keong to come with. Shawn cldnt make it. We booked the ticket online and i msged Keong abt it. I msged him, i called him, then i msged again n then i called again. But there was no reply. It was already 8.30pm and he didnt acknowledge anything abt coming to the pre-booked movie. I got nervous and i called his house phone. Then he said he'll come. Turns out his phone was on meeting mode. Y on earth ppl put meeting mode on when they r sitting at home? The same thing happens all the time with Taufiq. Always pager mode la, meeting mode la. N they both use the same phone: Nokia 3230. I hate that phone.

Moving on, we went to the Pink Panther 2.

It was funny in an illogical way. Aishwarya Rai was in it. She was one of the reasons i went 4 the movie. Though i'm not obsessed with her like a fan or something, i do like to catch up on her Hollywood work. Her Bollywood works not so much. If i recall correctly, Yoshini and I even did an assignment abt her for our English class in Form 4. lol. The materials r still at my house somewhere i think lol. In the movie, she just came in a few scenes but she had a major role in the end. Spoilers ahead ppl! Turns out, she's the thief everyone was looking for but she was hanging with the investigators all the time. Lol, she was okla at the end when she was running n all like a girl.

So after that i got back home n chatted, dotaed and blogged.

Real Women Have Curves ay?

Today i just watched a movie starring my favourite actress America Ferrera: Real Women Have Curves. It was funny and dramatic but isnt too deep. All the Spanish they were talking kinda reminded me of all the telenovelas i used to watch. Mis Tres Hermanas, Ruby, Juana La Virgen, Rosalinda, Yo Soy Betty La Fea and the series go on n on. I kinda miss em. N i miss Ugly Betty Season 3. I want season 3 of Ugly Betty!!! Pls video sharing sites cooperate with me.

And my mom stopped talking to me today. Well i kinda put a shirt n a jeans to laundry. N when i wanted to hang them back today i found that 2 of my hangers were missing. So i asked my mom. She was watching something. She told me she took them n then stopped explaining. I asked her y n she started nagging i'm hanging too much stuff on the pole inside the closet. That is true but she cld have told me when she took them. It's not like i cld fight her for the hangers back. But at least i'd noe she took them. Then she said i took them without telling her in the first place so she did the same. It's true that i took them from the cabinet without telling her but she shldnt do the same. She's a mom. Moms arent supposed to act like children. Yet my mom does act like a child all the time. So i got really mad when she stopped explaining n i called her a thief and went upstairs. A few hours later ony i realised she's giving me the silent treatment. So mature =.=

Today was Yfong's open hse yay. Me, Keong and Khazeman were able to find her hse coz she directed us to it. But as usual i cldnt remember the way. So at Yfong's place we ate like lots of oily and unhealthy food in large quantity lol. And Tiko somehow ended up in Glen View or Lake View. Yfong's house is in Taman Bukit Mas hahaha. So after that Tiko was able to find Yfong's place thanks to Yfong lol. Then Sin Yee came with a kinda bad news for Tiko. The shirt he wanted to buy in Zales 23 was bought ady by someone else lol. Then we all just ate n ate while watching Hitz.tv, or shld i say the new and improved Astro Hitz. Then Khazeman had to leave for work. So the rest of us played Uno and Black Jack. In between Mr.K and Yfong cheated me in Uno huhu. By 7 Tiko and Sin Yee left too. But it was okay bcoz we got to watch The Nanny double episode yay. Soon after it was time to go. Equipped with my ang pao, i just followed Keong to the main road and made my way thru the nite lol.

Driving Manual aka Moronic way of driving

Today i went driving practical at Sepakat and it was almost as worst as me having to eat my mom's gourd curry(yuck). I usually just dump it inside the trash bin when she's not looking. Anyway, my driving instructor is nice n all but he's kinda overprotective. We ended up with 3 hands on the Kancil steering wheel all the time. I was sweating like mad n kept forgetting wat i shld do. I finished it and finally got L for car license lol, which i was holding on since last year December lol. After that normal day la... bla bla bla tv bla bla bla DotA bla bla bla sleep.

Shopping Spree: Day 2

There was like no driving lesson today also bcoz mom and dad went to temple. Anyway, i had to go to Emma's CNY open house which i've been excited abt for days. She did it on Sunday bcoz that's her only off day. Before heading to Em's hse, i went to TS first to buy a few shirts. They were on discount price and some of them looked really nice when i checked them out y'day. So i bought 2 shirts and headed to Tesco. I wanted to buy ice cream for Em's open house. There i got a Wall's Neopolitan lol. After that, i headed to Em's house to find Shawn and Keong already there lol. Soon Nat, Hooizy and Tiko arrived.
We had such a blast. We were eating Larut Matang fried chicken that Emma bought. Quote Emma, "Gimme everything u have except chicken butt" lol. There were also peanuts bought by Mr.K that is like taboo for me. N Hooizy also brought a blueberry cake which was very nice. We were just catching up on each other's life and talking abt everything from food to music while eating ice cream lol. I also brought Uno and we played like Uno and Speed for a long time lol. But we all kinda reminded me of old ppl. We were like sitting on the floor and everyone started having cramps and pains lol. And something Tiko and Hooizy have in common: they r kinda afraid of dogs lol. Besides they just met. Mcphee and Midknight was entertained by Nat so that they wont disturb those 2 lol.
Soon after by 5.30 everybody left for home. We made dinner plans but me and Mr.K decided to stay it out. So the 4 of them went out 4 dinner. Was kinda like a double date i guess lol. It was so FUN!!! We shld do it again sometime lol.
