The day before the last day...

Today is the last Badminton Day huhu T.T . So Melmel asked me to bring camera to take pics and keep as memory. I did bring camera but the batteries were already dead it seems haha. So i had to use my okay2 ony camera phone. Lol the results:

After badminton and everything, i went back home to start getting ready to leave the day after tomorrow. But alas, the online temptation won. By afternoon, suddenly Tiko suddenly texted me to come to his small appreciation party. So i helped Tiko a bit by calling a few more friends. But unfortunately, Emma couldnt make it. ITP, Here Amir Comes!!!

Transformers just came out and of all the movies that i wanted to watch before i left for university, Transformers was the only one i went, thanks to that theatre that never plays all of the good movies. I booked the ticket y'day for me and Amir, and only before leaving for the movie today i found out that Yfong's time slot is the same as mine. So was Khazeman's and Ikhwan's time slot too lol. But we didnt sit in the same row though. The room was soo full. N when i booked y'day it was only like 10% full lol. Major support for Transformers it seems. The movie was as awesome as usual. But sometimes i got confused which was Decepticon and which was an Autobot lol.

WTH am i looking at? lol.

After the movie, everyone just went their own way. Yfong left with the frens, Khazeman also vanished, and Amir and me went window shopping to prepare for our unis. Oh yea, Amir decided not to go to KLMU and is going to ITP instead. After we had enough, we left to go back home.

Kampar's Brat

I've been planning for today since so long. After so many obstacles, i felt that i've had enough. So i persuaded the 2 people whom were interested to go and were free today, Yoshini and Shikin to go to Kampar with me. It's my first time going there and first time driving on the highway. We left Taiping at 8.30am and I drove all the way to Kampar and back. In between we almost got lost in the highway and Kampar but pulled through haha. In Kampar we went to Tesco and New Town. There's like this one cool hotel in Kampar called Grand Kampar Hotel. It's absolutely awesome. Our initial plan was to just visit Keong in Kampar and on the way back stop at any place that seemed interesting, like Ipoh or Yoshini's grandparents house in Jelapang. Lol but little did we know that we'd end up in Gua Tempurung hahaha. It was an awesome cave. The other members of our expedition team were just as friendly as our tour guide haha.

After coming back home at abt 4.30pm, i quickly got ready to visit Maddy with Amir. Walao she served loads n loads of food there. I only ate as much as i can eat haha. After visiting Madam, by 7pm i rushed back home and changed for Praise Korea in Taiping Wesley Church that i planned to go to with Emma. I drove the car as fast as possible and yet reached to her place 20minutes late. From there, we rushed to the church to get a good parking spot and i think we did. But by that time the church was already almost full in the ground floor. So Yfong suggested we sit in the 1st floor. N i think it was a good idea. Watching the concert from upstairs was definitely nice. I knew a few of the songs they sang so it was so fun to sing it together with them. N Pastor Daniel Kim was the best. His past experiences that he shared with us were so touching... After that i sent Emma home and i drove back home.

Today is Emma's birthday!!! Happy Birthday Emma!!! Tiko and I have been planning for today for the past few days. So today at abt 3pm, we met up in Tesco to buy some stuff for tonite's party. Lol as we bought everything and headed out, suddenly we bumped into Emma hahaha. She was on the phone. Tiko saw her but i only heard her voice. We quickly ran in opposite directions as far away as possible from her lol and the met back in the car park. We went location scouting and cake buying after that lol.
Later in the nite, all of Emma's bestest frens gathered at Taiping Lake Gardens to celebrate her birthday with a suprise party lol. And everyone joined in and lent their hands to make it a successful one. Major thanks to Fya, Yfong, Bie, Amir, Nat, Tiko and me lol. We just sat on pavement and talked n chatted till it was like 11pm+.
Something weird that happened to us that nite was wiuth a weird guy. He was riding along in his bike across the pavement and when he saw our cake and heard Tiko's friendly gesture, he literally parked his mbike and joined us. N most of us sorta like kept our distance. He was a malay guy and had his eyes on Fya though.. Anyway I was one of the 2 people there (the other one was Tiko) who wasnt that worried abt him. Everyone else's face looked like as if they saw a ghost. I was like =.= . I'm not sure why. Am i good at judging people or am i bad at judging people?
Then came a car, slowly it parked, and from it came out an Indian guy. As fast as lightning my frens started packing. I was like =.= . Then came out 2 girls and another guy. Everyone was like so relieved and continued wat they were doing. Turns out they were going to celebrate Father's Day there too (but they left after a while. Maybe we took their intended spot or something).
My actual point is, y r people so afraid of each other these days? I mean like we r all Malaysians yet we just keep to our fren circle and shut off any communication with anyone else. It doesnt even matter if they start talking to us first these days. People are like "Hey i dunno you. I'm not gonna talk to you. So you shouldnt either. Stop talking to me". I understand my frens were worried bcoz of some irrational action by some dumbass Indians and Malays in Kamunting and Taiping but.. Haizz... I'm speechless.
After that we wanted to go McD so the mbike guy left. The rest of us went McD and played Uno lol.

Leaf Insect?

I've always seen stick insects but never seen a leaf insect live before lol. I havent blogged for a few days ady so using the insect as an excuse haha. It was like perched on the wall near the ceiling.

Well 2 days ago, Thursday, as usual was badminton day. Melmel brought a new galpal and the rest of us were just regulars. Yoshini made a comeback after a few months lol. She just quit work like last week. I drove the car today and picked Yoshini up and returned the car back to my home unscathed lol.
Today, i went on a disposing spree. Dispose off all the old books and papers in the house to rearrange all the needed books. It's one of the things that i have to get done before i leave. And since i'm allergic to dust, i started sneezing like mad straight away. With all that mucus from my nose... omg and with all the itching... But i just braved them all through for the sake of cleanliness lol. I quit hafway though. Decided to continue another day. Took a bath and my allergy settled a bit. Really bad at cleaning up... T.T

MPH in Taiping???

Lol. Dont be fooled or excited Taipingites. It's just a roadshow. MPH Bookstores are in Taiping for a book fair selling their old stock and used books. I went there today with Amir and i thot it was awesome. Although most of the fiction novels are used, they r still in pretty good condition and major cheap. They also have loads of non-fiction books and other stuff. There were soo many choices i didnt noe which to buy. But in the end i settled for Bangkok Tattoo, Exit Strategy and The Project. All 3 of them are controversial and thrilling stories. Lol that's all i can say from reading the back cover. I havent started reading them. But Bangkok Tattoo is my first impression favourite so far hehe. Taipingites unite and visit TS's Atrium for the book fair. Dont miss out!

Not-so-headbanging Haircut

Hmm... Today i just had a haircut, in preparation for me joining USM next week. I'm so nervous abt it. So to be on a safe side i cut my hair. I've been planning it since last week but somehow i just put it off with tomorrows and tomorrows. N thank god for the tomorrows because if not i wouldnt have been able to fully do my headbanging at the concert haha. I just love headbanging with long hair... So now that it's over, i felt the time had come for me to part with my hair lol. So i went for it. Tada...

Adam Lambert + Drake LaBry = Adrake

Well, Adam Lambert just came out with an oh-so-obvious and apparent confession that he's gay. Puh-leaze lah. We've known that like since day 1 of American Idol. N most of us(who appreciates singers that utilise their ability to reach major high notes) supported him for his vocal abilities and ignored his what-ever personal life. But that personal life of Adam proved to be far too juicy for me to be let up lol. This month, he came out to the media through the popular entertainment magazine: Rolling Stone. So, i dug a bit further and found pics of him and his BF(that is boyfriend) holding hands and stuff. There's even video of them together. Adam's bf is Drake LaBry, an interior designer and painter who's 24 yrs old. Adam is like 27 yrs old so i think they r pretty compatible. Lol i decided to call them Adrake haha. I'm happy for Adam and hope he's happy too.

OMG!!! Estranged and Pop Shuvit!!!

Yfong was planning for today since the past 5 or 6 days coz it was Estranged and Pop Shuvit's first concert in Taiping!!! It was all thanks to Era.fm. We were like totally hyped about it. All we could talk abt everytime we met up in this week was abt the concert. We checked online for the timeslots so that we dont miss out and I even tried to memorise a few of their songs(it paid off btw). It was the first time i'll be seeing them live and also first time going to a concert that i can really rock out to. So at 5.30pm i left to Amir's house and from the we rode our mbikes to Taiping Giant Hypermarket. We were early by 2hours lol. Then we met Emma and Nat there. Perodua had their roadshow as well so Amir test drove Viva auto while i sat beside lol. After that, we rushed to the front line and got ready for the concert.

It was a bit cloudy but thank god it didnt rain.

I took picture of the stage without realising it was Moots from Pop Shuvit on the stage. When everybody else realised though, they buzzed in as fast as bees.

Dafi was the first to perform. For me he's like the Malaysian version of David Archuleta. They both didnt win the reality show they were in and both have boyish-looks. Plus loved by the young and also old.

Pop Shuvit's band came in first.

And their guitarist JD looked nerdy yet totally pro.

Moots! Pop Shuvit sang Wannabe, Oh Sizuka, Jump and Marabahaya. Loved it!

I think her name is Elyana. She sang Lady Gaga's Just Dance after one of her song. I thank her for that lol.

This guy is going to my ex-secondary school. I remember him from when i used to go there. He was at the concert with 3 more of his frens and he got the chance to dance with Elyana on stage. He sure looked like he enjoyed every minute of it.

This band's vocalist is a girl. But i have no idea wat's their name lol.

Acha Septriasa was also there. She sang like 3 songs, including the popular My Heart.

Rich! They sang Aurora, Itu Kamu, Yang Pernah and 2 more songs. Rich was soo sporting and got into the crowd and rocked out there. But when he wanted to come out, everyone was pulling him into the crowd.
Sorry Rich! Hope he didnt hurt himself.

Emma left by 10pm to go back so i was rocking to Estranged alone in the crowd lol but it didnt matter haha. I left the concert by 10.30pm because Amir wanted to leave, my mom wanted me to get back home and this one guy called Din Beramboi came on stage dressed up as David Arumugam and started making 'seditious' remarks . PLUS i was already soooo satisfied watching Estranged and Pop Shuvit in action!!!

Loved the concert. Hope to see more artists in the future! lol
