Shopping Spree: Day 1

I went to bed like 11.30pm the day before but i couldnt sleep. Suddenly at abt 12.30am i had this craving to eat a recipe that my older brother taught me when i was small. It's like u take bread and u put condensed milk and Milo powder inside and u fold n u eat lol. So i made that and was eating it while watching The Nanny double episode lol. This morning (well, sunlit morning), i had to like wake up at 8am coz i needed to attend a family fren's wedding with my parents. It ended at abt 12pm and majorly caused me to like lose a few hours of sleep.
After that i went on a shopping spree with Yoshini and Keong since i already got my advance pay. There was no driving lesson with dad today bcoz he was out with mom. Anyway, we went Taiping Sentral and bought a new phone for Yoshini with her money and Yfong's consultation + discount lol. The 4 of us also went for lunch in Sushi King and got 10% discount thanks to Yfong yay. lol. After that i bought Malaysia Edition of Pussycat Doll's Doll Domination. It was like Rm29.90 bcoz the booklet didnt have the lyrics or their cover arts. It's okay i guess.

After TS, the 3 of us went to The Store Kamunting to see some old frens lol. Yfong went back to work of coz. I also wanted to confirm whether i have a pay slip or not with my ex-HR. There i met lot n lots of frens and sisters whom i once worked with like Reethakka and Theinakka. I missed them all so much. It turned out that i had a pay slip so i collected it. After that the 3 of us plus Sally went to KFC n didnt buy anything there lol. We just bought outside food and ate there. The 4 of us had like great time and great laughter there. Sally is always so fun. It was raining outside that time and since i'm still recovering from CP, we decided to wait it out but ended up with wet helmets lol.
I had some trouble riding mbike today. First time riding since 2 weeks of house arrest lol. After we reached home, i played the DD cd again n again lol. THANKS Mr.K and Yoshini for accompanying me!!!

Driving Lesson: Day 2

Today i went driving practice with my dad again and today well i still sucked lol. Dad said my u-turns r scary and i'm still bad at controlling the accelerator. Lol it's just the 2nd day la. And today was also the last day for my chicken pox rules or 'pantang'. I hope i'll be okay lol.

Lol, since my dad has off till like forever, he decided to teach me driving using his car at the airport in Tekah. I did quite okay today. I just learnt how to drive normally and park in reverse. But i still have a lot to learn abt junctions, u-turning and parking lol. Hope i'll do better on my 2nd day!

Transamerican Rampage

Lol today at 12.00 am i was watching The Nanny double episode which was supposed to end at 1.00am. My dad wasnt home because he went for CNY dinner party and my mom went to bed around 12.30am. Before going she asked me "y r u watching episodes that u already have watched b4?" The 12 o'clock episode is one that i havent watch yet. So i said "no la. Havent watch." Then she went to bed but she totally jinxed it. The 12.30 episode is a already watched before episode huhu. So i got bored and switched off the tv.
I went back online and started loading a movie in Youtube that i've been wanting to watch for a long time: Transamerica.

It's an Academy Award nominated movie starring Felicity Huffman who plays Lynette in Desperate Housewives and an up-and-coming actor Kevin Zegers. I'm telling u, it's like one of the best movie ever. Although for me the ending is a bit of a cliffhanger (and i hate cliffhangers), but i like to think that the story ended with a good ending just to calm me down. Kevin Zegers and Felicity Huffman did a remarkably extraordinary job in the film.
In the middle of me watching the film, at around 2.00am, my mom went berserk. She woke up and caught me onlining at this hour. So she nagged and nagged. Then she pulled out my internet cable. But i didnt care coz i have already loaded the whole movie. I pretended to go to sleep since i'm sleeping upstairs now. Then i went back to continue the movie.
Half an hour later, she caught me again. This time she really went on a rampage. She came upstairs and made sure i switched off the pc. Huhu. I had to switch off the main plug. Poor pc. And i lost the rest of the movie. So i went to bed 4 a while then switched on the pc again. I was really frustrated and decided that i m going to finish the movie that time no matter wat. N i went downstairs to check just in case. N just as i suspected she was stalking me. Paranoid.
After a while, she went to bed. I went downstairs and plugged in my internet cable and took my handsfree for my handphone as well. I let the rest of the movie load and lied down on the mattress with hitz.fm switched on my handphone. After a while, dad came came home around 3.00am. I waited till he went to bed and i knew by then the film would have loaded till the end. So i switched on the monitor and watched the movie till the end. Of coz i was scared of getting caught but the charm of the witty and meaningful movie made me determined to finish it. It was a great film and i dont regret anything that happened at all.
Lol i went to bed at 4.00 am and woke up at 12.30pm. Lol i skipped breakfast. Mom nagged me a while later after lunch and told me that i have to switch off the pc at 11.00pm today or she'll switch it off herself. So controllish. I'm just like whatever. I'm gonna listen to her this time.

Stan The Merman

Well, since i'm unemployed once again, i've started watching movies in Youtube. The underground indie and will-not-be-showed-in-national tv type. lol. N boy some of them r freakingly hilarious. One of the most funniest movie in a gross and 18+ way is Another Gay Sequal. Lol, i was laughing all the way. But then again, there are some very sad and touching parts. Some scenes r also meaningful like any other movie would be. N in the movie, one the characters that i loved the most is Stan The Merman.

Stan is like merman version of Cinderella's Fairy Godmother. Though he doesnt use magic, he gives hope to the main character of the film, Nico.

He was soo naive yet very clever, and kinda timid as well. He only comes in 2 scenes though. Stan The Merman was played by the infamous Brent Corrigan. He's a great star and pulled this gig off easily, although the preparations to get him into his costume was very hard it seems.

Last day...

Today is the last day of my work as a cashier in The Store Kamunting and i'm sitting at home! How cool is that? lol. Maybe not also coz i kinda miss my work. Shivers. I cant believe i just said that. Sure the work is hectic and annoying, but when there's no customers, cashiers have so much fun. Huhu, i'll miss my supervisor Ms.L, senior cashier Kak Yati, my mentor Reethakka, my sis-at-work Theinakka, and all other great cashiers and friends. Huhu not forgetting some nice promoters and sales assistants like Mr.K and Sally. CRY100.

Home-Sitter

Lol, today i was just online and doing my thing when suddenly reality hit me. I'm sitting at home with spots all over me but i m still getting paid for it. LOL. I cant believe it. The spots r a bit itchy but i feel as good as new. But then again, after 24th i dont have a job ady lol.

Check Up & Bad News

Today, i was supposed to go to the clinic for a check up. So my dad drove me to The Store to get my medical card again. That was when they told me the news i kinda did expect from the ruthless HR. They said i was fired lol. Ms.T and Ms. S said my mc was too long and since i was only temporary, there was no need to for me to come back to work after my mc was over. N they said my salary would go on until the 24th of January, which is the last day of my mc. I said okay since there was nothing else i could say and besides i've worked there for 1 month anyway bcoz i started work there on 24th of December. So after that, i asked for my medical card. They asked "y so many check up one?". I said "only one more on Friday". Then they said "cannot, today is the last day u take the medical card. After this cannot give you ady". I said okay and took the card n left. At the clinic, the doctor saw my spots and said i'm recovering fine. N then i told him abt the incident. Then he said "nevermind. No need for you to come after this. I'll just give u all the medicines and charge them together since i cannot charge them after this". lol. Nice doctor.

Spotty Chicken Pox huhu

Today i went to work at 7.00am thinking i'll be continuing till 4.00pm, as i am supposed to as Team A. But by 7.30am, i started feeling nauseous and vomitty. And when Mr.K came to see me before heading back home, that was it. I vomitted inside the garbage plastic bag. N by 9.30am, i couldnt take it anymore. I went to see Ms.T and asked for the Medical Card to go see a doctor. But since it was Sunday, the only other company panel doctor who was open other than Taiping Hospital was Dr.Philips. I didnt want to go Taiping Hospital because then i have to register as an emergency case. At that time, i was still thinking i was having some sort of allergy or something. But before leaving, i did manage to talk to fellow cashier Theinakka and she planted the idea that it could be chicken pox. With mixed emotions and thoughts, i went to the clinic with my father, and as expected the doctor diagnosed the spots as Chicken Pox huhu. He also gave me some medicines and 1 week mc. So i went back to office and submitted the medical card and my mc paper to Ms.T. She accepted but i had my doubts with her. Coz i'm telling u, The Store HR people r one of the ruthless rulers out there. Anyway, i went back home thinking "Y me?" and i heard a voice(my conscience) ask back "Y not you?"

Saturday Night Fever (literal version)

Today is the first day of dual day torture of The Store 38hours CNY celebration. They'll be open continuously for 38 hours and of course that means all the workers have to work all the while too. I was on Team A which meant i would be working from 10.00am till 10.30pm today. I was in charge of a new counter, Counter 19. OMG, Chargers Outfitters was on 70% discount. But just my luck, the shirt i had my eyes on ran out of stock. Then came Happy Hour. I was the wrapper for CS, my assistant supervisor. It was sooo chaotic and by the end of the so called 'Happy' Hour, customers were screaming to see the manager. I would blame it all on Ms. PT and 2 of her pig-faced frens. They just let their frens and other ppl to cut the extremely long cue and buy first. By the time my shift was over, i was happy that I balanced and went home in the freezing rain eventhough i had major fever. At home i noticed lots of huge spots on my body. I wonder what are they?

{Bakery}

Bakery is one of the coolest counters in the whole The Store. Not only because of the air-conditioning but also because the work of a cashier there is easier. Plus the workers there are the friendliest. Totally gonna miss them when my contract is over. N today i was the cashier there. YAY! But i couldnt take the chill. The slight fever and trauma from yesterday escalated. N i was laughed at by other cashiers btw bcoz of the teeth. At 9 something, the bakery actually offers the leftover buns for half off! How cool is that? I bought like 3 buns. No pics sorry. Fever. No pics of my teeth either, maybe later though. After finding out my tally was balanced, i went home and DotAed and went to bed without eating the buns huhu...

Freak + Accident

Today i worked at Counter 2, the first counter in the whole canned food counter row. They never open Counter 1 and nobody knows why(the people i dare ask that is). It was a normal hectic day and since i was on afternoon shift, i took over the counter at 6 n the day just went on. I was having a slight fever and i just hop it'd pass. At 7, i was helped by "the great wrapper", Mr.K lol, bcoz he was on morning shift. After a while(at 8 lol), he decided to go home. N i was just working n working when i kept getting calls.
After a while, i just closed counter n went to the toilet to see who it was. It turned out to be 2 unknown Digi numbers. So i just sent a msg saying call back after 11. N i went back to work. At the end of the day, my tally was balanced n i went back home to DotA in peace.
After bathing, i was eating when one of the Digi numbers suddenly called back. It turned out to be a SON OF A BITCH. It was kinda like talking to a country brute or an estate dweller. That thing called itself a police officer and threatened to put me inside a lock up. Oh puh-leeze..! The animal said i was msging it's number first. That freak's head i was msging it first. It called me first. I tried to lie abt number sharing but the thing knew i was lying. Then i just said i wont msg it anymore. I was like "Y argue with a moron?". For my ego it felt as if i was admitting to something i didnt do, but i just took it. Who knows which part of Malaysia that things lives. The SOAB said it can trace me down with my number. Of course u can but wat r u going to do with it? U'll be Malaysia's number one moron to think or even threaten to lock ppl up just for msging(which i didnt b4 that creep called). Anyway, that thing is an Indian definitely coz it was talking in Tamil, and from the voice i think very dark, moustached, heavily built, screams a lot, stupid and has mental disorder. Could even be a drunkard. N thinks of itself as a police. MORON!!! Not forgetting, it's numbers:

Moving on, after DotAing, i was climbing onto my bed in total darkness when i went n hit the steel of my bed face on huhuhu.. It hurt like hell. Now i noe how the people we laugh at in Video Zonkers felt like. The pain was so nauseating n i felt like fainting. I was also gasping for air like a lot. I felt something was wrong inside my mouth so i spitted it out. Something small n solid fell out together with some sticky liquid. I knew it was one of my teeth. I quickly switched on the light n was horrified to see soooo much blood inside my mouth and on my hands. I panicked and ran up to my parents room and knocked the door. My mom ignored me =.= but my dad came out to see wat happened. He calmed me down for a while coz i was freaking out. After washing up i realised the damage was quite minimum and is repairable. Half of one of my 2 front teeth was gone. So i went to bed feeling better coz it was nothing that a dentist cant fix.
The cause of this accident is definitely my carelessness but is also because of my karma. It could either be because i was cursing that Digi freak like mad to myself or because i didnt sleep earlier like my mom always tells me to. I'd have to go with my mom bcoz that freak deserved every word i called him. I dont usually swear in my blog but this is definitely an exceptional entry. Word.

Life of a The Store Cashier...

Well, a cashier without shortages or major extras(overs), can get RM580 basic plus RM100 cashier allowance and RM50 attendance allowance. The cashier's allowance is usually to cover the shortages and for the attendance allowance u must be on time to work everyday without being late at all. There are 3 shifts. M for morning shift from 10.30/10.00 am till 7.00pm. Normal working days start at 10.30am but if there is briefing or on special occasions, it starts at 10.00am. Next, A for afternoon shift, from 1.30pm to 10.30pm. The day could end at 12.00am during festive season. Thirdly, F for full shift, which is from 10.30/10.00 am till 10.30pm/12.00am.

The M or F cashier starts the day buy punching in, signing the book, and going to cashier room for the timetable. There you see the counter u're supposed to be and take the money you're supposed to 'pay-in'. Then, you're supposed to go straight to your counter and insert cash amount of RM400. It's the same amount everyday. Then u just do your thing with the scanner and cash register. In between you might have to walk to see promoters because of price issues or phone calls. And also the senior cashiers and supervisors will come around to collect money from ur machine to avoid mass loss if there's any robberies.

The A cashiers also punch in and sign the book and get to the cashier rooms to see their counters for the day. They usually start by reliefing counters while the M n F cashiers go for lunch. The same routine applies for them and at 5 they'll be off to dinner break and they'll take over counters held by M cashiers. The M cashiers usually recess at 1.30pm or 2pm. That is after the A cashiers come in. Their break would be half an hour if no briefing and 1 hr if there was briefing. The F cashiers get 1 hour break twice and the A cashiers get an hour break at 5.00pm or 6.00pm.


The counters will start to be closed according to customer density by 10.00 pm on a normal day. Once your counter is cleared, u just grab all the cash bills, a very importance cash report form and all the money inside the counter bag and run to the cashier room to be counted. There u will noe whether your cash tally is balanced or not. If there are any small shortages, they will be overlooked and you should be grateful it's small yourself. But if it is a large number, the supervisors and the senior cashiers will definitely help u in any way they can. I noe that from experience lol :p.

Day Off!

Today was my day off yay. Acceli me and Mr.K were planning to go out that morning because he was on afternoon shift, but we decided not to coz he was very tired. Lol so i took the opportunity to go back to sleep after surviving his 'miscalling spree' lol. Then after waking up i realised i could be doing something beneficial on a 'off day' morning, so i decided to return a few Microeconmy books me and my frens borrowed from Puan Azlina(nicest micro teacher). Anyway i also wanted to get Oxy5 coz i ran out of stock ady.
So i went to skool(alone) and met up with some teachers and past frens(lol). Soon, i left for Guardian(alone), facing tough traffic(in Taiping!). After that, i went to Popular(alone) to find some missing books from my HSM book collection. They werent there! So slow. They books were published like 3 months ago. The 7th Harry Potter book was also not there haiz... After that i left to do some accessory shopping(alone) but only found some really ugly ones, so i decided to go back home before i threw up.
After reaching home i just did the usual stuff like eating n onlining. Yfong and I decided to meet up for her dinner break. N i thot y not make it like a gathering or something. So i asked Shawn, Emma and Tiko to come along too. Mr.K couldnt make it coz he was working. So, we all met up and decided to go Sushi King. Emma was lil bit late coz she was on baby-sitting. By the time she reached the place, Yfong had to leave because her dinner break was over. We were just trying out all those sushis (except Shawn coz he already tired out everything on the menu =.= lol) and also grabbing them from the moving sushi platform.

We stuffed ourselves with sushis such as Sakana Fry and Tori Karaage (that's wat i ate) and hit Starbucks soon after. There Shawn and Tiko bought again lol. After that, we decided to give Mr.K a suprise visit.
Soon, we were at The Store Kamunting. Tiko couldnt come along to see Mr.K. There we visited the Mushroom Man(lol). We chatted up for a while. Then Shawn had to leave first, followed by Emma. Suddenly Mr.K went missing while i was waiting for my dad. By the time he was back, my dad was there already =.=.
Later tonite as usual i DotAed and went to bed pretty late lol.

N hey, i used Mr.K's Dashing Active Eau De Cologne today n received good reviews for it. Thanks Mr.K!!!

Rewind in Reverse...

Huhu... my wish to rewind last Saturday didnt come true. Mr.K got into trouble with Ms.V and Ms.S bcoz of me huhu.

I'm SORRY Mr.K!!!

And even i got into lots of trouble on Sunday. First, i was late 2 mins for work =_=. N got nagged by Ms.S for that. After that, i found out that they changed my shift from Full to Afternoon. And i just followed my timetable without realising they changed. So i ended up working Full coz i was already there early morning huhu. After a tiring day, i went upstairs as usual to count the money at the end of the day. And i ended up being RM50 short huhu... I went home totally distraught. I thot i was on a shorting spree or something.

The next day(today), my supervisor Ms.L suddenly came up to me and said she dunno how but she somehow got over RM50, so she took the money n put into my tally. Huhu...

So that means, so far my tally is balanced...

Old Town Trip

Today was my day off so me, Keong(who was on afternoon shift), Emma and Tiko got together at Oldtown Coffee for a reunion coz we didnt get to see each other for a long time. Lol after stuffing ourselves and exchanging gifts, Keong went back home coz he needed to get ready for work. Meanwhile, the 3 of us went TS. There, i bought a 4GB pendrive for RM27. I dunno whether it's worth it or not. After that we went shopping a bit in Zales 23, where Tiko and Emma bought earrings lol. Then we left for home (though i did visit Tesco first). Lol i meant Jeans la. I love to buy pants to go with my shirts and after a while since i dont seem to be growing any taller or wider, all the jeans since form4 still fit me well lol. So here's my collection over the years:

Today i had morning shift (so fun). I was working in bakery counter and being surrounded by all sorts of pastries made me so much hungry. It was my first time there so it was very confusing to remember all their names. I took out first rm50 from my last month salary today also lol. N I was just thinking abt the duration of everything in life while working today. As they say 'nothing lasts forever' and 'all good things must come to an end'. So i came up with 'days are numbered whether you like it or not' lol. I created while thinking of the time left to be spent with someone... Tomorrow off yay! But today was also BFF's unluckiest day huhu... Tomorrow off yay! lol

N something that i forgot to mention, since i've started working i saw lots of my teachers and frens. I saw Maddy, Pn.Chan and even my primary tuition teacher lol. I only talked to these teachers. The other teachers and frens i had to ignore because:

1. I dunno whether they still recognise me or not.
2. I didnt want to go talk to them.
3. I couldnt just leave the counter.

So if any of u out there who saw me looking at u but pretended i didnt see u, sorry k. Lol n i didnt mean that.

Almost a bad New Year beggining...

Yesterday i was incharge of Counter 4 all day. Lot's of ppl came to see me acceli. Among them r Yfong and my aunt from Kepong. N of coz my parents who tagged along lol. So, in between recesses, my tally was checked twice. N it turned out to be balanced. But at the end of the day, somehow i became short of 100. I went back home that night so distressed. I didnt even have mood to online. I just went to bed straight away. Then the next day, it turned out to be that i forgot to take out 100 that i put inside the drawer. But i seriously dont remember putting money there at all. So i got balanced after all. Thank god.

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2009

everyone!!!

Well, this is acceli supposed to be yesterday's entry but never mind la i just put it under today. Lol yesterday my parents, brothers, cousins and nieces came to visit me at work. We all made so much ruckus, everyone was watching. Lol it was like a mini pasar malam inside a supermarket. But i was happy they came because work today was very very tense.

After i went back home, i was DotAing as usual. In between that (for which i had to leave Akasha chilling at the fountain), i went down to celebrate my brother's 4As and also usher in the new year 2009 lol. It was so much fun because my family never celebrated new year before. We were singing and also had this delicious chocolate cake that is better than Secret Recipe seriously. And it was made in The Store Kamunting lol.

And after that, my mom went psycho again. She said she wants to ask my dad to terminate my internet because i'm rarely at home ady to use it and also because i'm also online late at nite. Whatever. Huhu i hope she didnt mean that...
