Deepavali FUN!!!

Before i start writing anything, i must stress 1 thing: I worked my butt off for Deepavali. So it kinda sucks to think that it was just for one day. With all the cleaning, washing, painting, hurting, not sleeping, having fever, flu and also shopping, it's kinda good to have leave today thanks to my for-now-caring school, SMK King Edward VII. And for the stupid schools out there who force students to go school today, "You're stupid".
Now for the true purpose of this entry: What happened yesterday during Deepavali.
Well, i only slept at 4am the day before because i was tidying up the hall and also finishing up my economy tuition homework. So it was kind of a bummer to wake up at 7 the next day. After that my family and I went to a temple in kamunting. From there i had to rush to tuition which started at 9. Lol i went there in my jippa. After tuition a bunch of my frens came over straight from tuition. They were all my schoolmates, Lee Pin, Y Fong, Leng2, Kah Bean, Lai Peng, Bee Theng, Su Yong, and Yoshini. We had so much fun. They were all even talking with my brothers.
From my house i accompanied all of them to Yoshini's house. We had a blast there too. I stayed there only for a while coz after that i met up with Taufiq, Ezzy, Amir, and Nazu to crash Kalai's house. After tearing it down, next we hit my place. In between, Taufiq gave me the best Deepavali card EVER!!! There we were joined by Khazeman, Ah Heng, Swee Lan, and also Eng Hean aka Ah Boy. After a while everyone left just in time for me to get ready for the fourth batch of frens.
By this time though, my fever and flu were taking over me. But i took a bath and at the exact time when i was dozing off on my bed, Keoshi's Dad and Shawn came...... at 6.40! lol. Love em for their earliness. Haha. I told everyone to come at 7. So we were watching tv and just talking while waiting for the rest of my frens when Shawn just remembered that he forgot a birthday party! lol. So he rushed there leaving me and Keoshi's Dad at my house to wait. We waited n waited and finally Emma and Nat came at 7.40 lol. When i asked Emma why she was late, "I thought it's at 8". lol It's ok coz emma always forgets stuff. And i noe that she's early in a way too. And wat matters is she came. Keoshi's Dad was just so patient and all, but he was rewarded when Tiko finally came at 8. So Keoko/Tiong/Tikeo were formed once again lol. After laughing like mad watching Video Zonkers in awe, we went for some spicy food cooked by my mom. She received really good comments for the food too. lol. Shawn came right in time before we finished and did wat he does the best: Eat lol.
After eating, we got dirty with firecrackers. We went to a dark alley with a lone lamp post and played the crackers. Keoshi's Dad was really trying out some stunts lol accompanied by Tiko of course, who is his pillar of strength.
So we played n played until we got scolded by a aunty next door becoz of the sound. LOL. We ran and played at another place a bit further. We finished it and decided on doing wat we have to do: Bomb the aunty's house one last time. Haha. We did just that and ran away. Soon it was time for everyone to leave.
THANKS A LOT!!! to everyone for coming to my house yesterday guys. I had so much fun with everyone!! Let's do it again next year too lol. And thank u so much Taufiq for the card. HSM rocks!!

Gaga over I Hate This Part!

Pussycat Dolls just came out with a new album, Doll Domination last month. The first single, When I Grow Up was a major hit among teens and club-goers. Their second single, Whatcha Think About That is climbing up the charts with the help of Missy Elliot. What really caught my ears and eyes alike though is their 3rd single, I Hate This Part. The song is instrumental heavy with sharp vocals from Nicole, singing some of the most meaningful lyrics:

Everyday seven takes of the same old scene,
Seems we're bound by the laws of the same routine;
Gotta talk to you now before we go to sleep,
But will we sleep once i tell you what's hurting me..

The video is a masterpiece in my eyes. It is directed by well-renowned director, Joseph Kahn, who also directed When I Grow Up. No unnecessary sleaze and full of artful scenes in great landscapes with great editings. The video has a fawn, a piano in the middle of a desert with a lone tree, a python, a butterfly unique flowers, a diary and even a wolf. The dolls portray scenes perfectly too with full natural emotion n casual outfits. The image of Nicole alone in a vast desert does show the depth of the song. Even Ashley lets us see her frustration with good use of the stuffed animal, rather than the stupid girls from Miley Cyrus' 7 Things video who soak the stuffed animals with their tears. Eww...

Moving on to another song that i love, which is Just Dance by Lady Gaga. Just Dance is the first single from Lady Gaga's debut album, The Fame. It's a majorly popular song for mainstream listeners and also club-hitters. With it's moving beat and Lady Gaga's commanding voice, it'll definitely make u just dance. The lyrics are quite peculiar n interesting as they portray what really happens in some parties these days:

All of the people start to rush.
Start to rush babe.
How does he twist the dance?
Can’t find my drink or man.
Where are my keys, I lost my phone.

The video too portrays what really sometimes happen in a alcohol and drug fueled party. It's atrocity is the way Lady Gaga and the dancers move around in the scenes. Yuck, yuck and yuck. Crappy video for a good song. But they nailed wat they were trying to achieve though. Good work in that sense.

Disaster Movie is a Disaster!

Well to start off, i'm not that big fan of movies and never was into the 'cetak rompak' dvds or vcds either. But when the new cinema opened in Taiping Sentral, i was really in it. Lol. For 1 reason only: 'Lepak' with frens.
I went to Jumper, National Treasure and Long Kong with free tickets lol but the first movie that i paid for was House Bunny. It was HILARIOUS. Emma, Keoshi's Papa n Shawn were also there to share the laughs. But only Em and i got stomach cramps lol. All the while i noe abt Disaster Movie being released worldwide but i didnt understand y it hadnt opened in Taiping Sentral yet. I was waiting n anticipating....
Then one day, Keoshi's Papa msged me. Disaster Movie is showing. Lol as fast as lightning i started making plans and all. After all the saliva and prepaid, finally six of us went: Emmaneal (Emma + Nathaneal), Keoko/Tiong/Tikeo (Keoshi's Papa + Tiko {that story is another entry later}), Shawn and Me. Shawn and i were already planning to smuggle in 'Keoshis' to be set loose if the movie sucked (which it did) because we already had like a premonition "that movie is going to let us down" (and it did), but there was a bag check and we had to give em all to ther counter guy coz they looked a lot like sushis. Can't blame him. There was a label saying "No outside food or drink allowed" anyway. We just walked past him and the bag after the check to go to our theatre and just as we turned the corner to Room 5, we heard cries or horror and pain coming from the bag counter. We knew wat was going on but we had to keep walking: We were late for the movie :P
Anyway, all i can say abt the movie was it was 'oklah'. Not as funny as House Bunny but was still funny little bit. The high points were the saber-toothed alcoholic Amy Winehouse, Juney's acronyms (which were very informative), Calvin with the Smart Shoe Phone lol, the rabid singing Chipmunks (scary) and everything about Will. And on our way out of the cinema, it was no suprise when we saw the counter guy wearing glasses n saying out numbers to himself....
After the movie, we went to Oldtown Coffee. N boy was it stressful. We had a lot of problems with the food we ordered. Keoshi's Papa was playing Spelling Bee with a worker until she got pissed off. N Emma was complainting abt extra drink to a very blurred worker lol but he was co-operative (peace out to u buddy). The food was normal2 ok. Then when we paid, another problem arose. Forgot abt the taxes. So everyone was calculating how much they have to pay n all when Shawn saved the day. Thanks Shawn. After that we all just paid to Shawn.
After enjoying each other's company, we headed off into the night to reach each others home, not to sleep in the bliss of a great night out, but to study for STPM!!!

A new Beginning...

Ta dah! Finally i have my own blog! Totally excited about it. Thanks to all of my frens and gs akka for supporting me. lol. U guys might not noe it but u did. Well, i'm totally gonna use my blog to the fullest capacity to voice out my opinions. Don't freak out yet. More to come.....

Today also happens to be my small brother's 14th b'day. Happy Birthday! Although i don't mean it, i'm saying it for the sake of saying it. lol. He's very stubborn n such a pain sometimes. Well maybe always. N greedy. N problematic. N a green-eyed-monster. Did i mention pampered like hell? N the list goes on and on. Just look at the picture. He has everything but still not happy.

So, today to celebrate his b'day, my dad bought takeway KFC so that we can eat at home. Y? Coz this dweeb was throwing a tantrum for a reason i dont care about. It was my 1st younger brother who calmed him down. They actually share some sort of connection. N i don't care about that. Wat bugs me though is the fact that they r always up to something together. N when they dont want the rest of us to find out, they'll unleash the secret weapon: Mandarin. Since they went Phui Choy together, they use mandarin as a secret language to talk secrets. lol. N i'm like so used to all that already by now n just waiting for the day when i can get back at them both. Haha. Maybe i'll talk the "keoshi" language.... 578930? lol













No matter wat happens, he's still my brother. N i noe that. N this new beginning goes for him too. Hope he'll become a better person after this (as if, so not gonna happen).
