GRRL Power

Let's see. Today me and Keong went to see Say Poh at Oldtown Coffee n then hung at McD waiting for Yfong and then went to Sushi King, where later on Tiko joined us. Saw a fren of Tiko's and also Pn.Seow there. From there we just headed home. I've been following AMIdol religiously since the top7 ad tonite was the result show. Good thing i was back home in time to watch it. I was very worried abt Adam just coz of his pants. WTH is he wearing skinny jeans on stage when ppl across the whole world is watching??? I mean like of course Slash can do it bcoz he doesn't have to rely on some conservative granny to vote for him to win a reality tv show. Adam really needs to turn the outfit volume down a bit till he acceli win the freaking title. I already have a Plan B anyway. But too bad my Plan C had to go back home today. Allison the Rock Goddess left the show, taking the 'Grrl Power' of the show with her (hmm... Maybe Adam's dose of that power would be enuff for the show).
One thing that was interesting in tonite's show was No Doubt's performance. Gwen Stefani was totally rocking it on stage. I've totally adored No Doubt coz of that. They are a band whom the lead singer is a girl, and the only one in the band. N how loyal Gwen could be? She has like 2 multi platinum albums : Love.Angel.Music.Baby. and The Sweet Escape but she's still tight with her band. Love her for that coz she's still on it even after marriage and 2 kids.

Another group that is almost the same is the Black Eyed Peas. Technically they are not a band and Fergie, they're only female groupmate, joined the group a bit later. Her solo debut album, The Dutchess also went multi platinum in 2006 yet the 4 of them are geared for their next album together. Fergie was recently quoted by Wil.I.Am and from it she seemed to be really excited abt it although she's now officially married.

Hope both No Doubt and the Black Eyed Peas stay together forever!!!
