Monsters vs Aliens

Today is Thursday and i wake up earlier than usual ( at 9am) as i always do on Thursdays to play badminton. Today would be the first time that we're actually playing badminton on a Thursday morning without Keong. It is a bit saddening but the show has to go on. And ironically, today marked one of the highest number of players lol. We had Shawn, Yfong, Melveen, Swee Lan, Amir, Dhanesh, Ram and me. Altogether 8 of us. Mostly thanks to Yfong for her recruitment. Thanks everyone for coming. It was so much fun coz we played 4 players after 4 players.

When it was time to go home, Shawn, Yfong and me planned to go watch Monsters vs Aliens today afternoon. As everyone headed home, Amir and I went for McVAlue lunch haha. That was 1 of the promises i made to him to make him come today lol. We were discussing and discussing Amir's personal problems till it was already 2pm. N the movie that i was supposed to watch was at 3pm lol. So i quickly rushed home, had lunch coz i didnt wanna tell mom i ate out and rushed back to TS. As i was rushing, Yfong called up and told me that the management has cancelled the 3pm timeslot for Monsters vs Aliens. So i brought Uno and drove slow. We decided to hang in Starbucks while playing till it's time for the next slot at 5pm. By 5pm, we were in the movie. It was AWESOME! One of the best animated movies. I loved it, especially the Susan aka Ginormica's storyline. It had a really cool voice cast as well. But one thing that gave me the creeps was Insectosaurus. It looked like a freak fusion of an insect and a hamster! And at the end of the movie, it even went thru a metamorphosis and became a butt ugly butterfly monster. Yerr.. After that we all just headed back home.
